International Economics and Trade (English-only program)

Educational Objectives:

This program cultivates students who will devote themselves to the implementation of major national strategies, such as the strategy for building up national strength with international trade, the Belt and Road Initiative, and the plan of building Shanghai into an international economic, finance, trade, shipping, and technological innovation center. It is expected that talent out of this program will have a solid theoretical foundation, horizontal international perspectives, outstanding cross-cultural communication skills, all-around knowledge about international economic and trade rules, and a deep understanding of the realities of China. They will be professionals well-prepared for promoting international trade and working in multinationals, financial institutions, and medium- and large-sized international consulting groups.
