
Zhang Yiguo, Han nationality, born in November 1975 in Jinyun, Zhejiang Province, is a professor and the Vice Chairman of SUIBE Council. He joined the CPC in 1995 and began his career in 1996. He earned his Doctor of History degree from East China Normal University (ECNU) in 2003. As a student, he served as the Chairman of the Graduate Association of ECNU, the Vice Chairman of Shanghai Students’ Federation, and the Vice Chairman of All-China Students’ Federation. Zhang’s teaching and research focus primarily on historical theory and higher education administration. He has led the later-stage funding project of the National Social Science Fund and the Shanghai Decision-Making Consultation project. He won the Shanghai Municipal Award for Bringing up Talent (Shanghai Yucai Award), Shanghai Outstanding Party Worker, and was selected into the first Shanghai Sunshine Scholar program in 2009.
