SUIBE Holds Opening Ceremony of 11th China International Civil Servant Capacity Building Training Program

On July 11, the opening ceremony of the 11th China international civil servant capacity building training program was held online. The program was sponsored by the United Nations Association of China, supported by the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and held by SUIBE. The training program also received assistance from the World Trade Organization Chairs Programme.




Wang Ying, deputy director general of the United Nations Association of China presided over the opening ceremony. Hu Wenli, vice president and director general of the United Nations Association of China, Xie Bohua, Ambassador of the International Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ma Hezu, deputy director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and Wang Rongming, president of SUIBE attended the opening ceremony.

Hu Wenli delivered a speech on behalf of the sponsor of the event. As a representative of the International Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Xie Bohua extended warm congratulations to the opening of the training program. Ma Hezu delivered a speech on behalf of the supporter.








At the opening ceremony, Wang Rongming delivered a welcome speech on behalf of SUIBE. He extended a warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to all the participants, and introduced the distinctive characteristics of SUIBE in multilateral, bilateral and regional trade studies, as well as the university’s major achievements in the training of foreign economic and trade talents. Wang Rongming said that SUIBE would build a reserve of high-quality Chinese international civil servants to provide strong support for China's participation in global governance. He hoped that young students could cherish the valuable learning opportunities, strive to improve their competence in international competition, and make contributions to improving China's ability to participate in global governance and building a community with a shared future for mankind.




The China international civil servant capacity building program is the only one of its kind facing the public and college students in China. Online training courses spanning a week are expected to be provided for students.
