SUIBE Kicks off Sixth “Boshi” International Commercial Innovation and Entrepreneurship Elite Special Training Course


On July 5, SUIBE held the sixth “Boshi” international commercial innovation and entrepreneurship elite special training course on VOOV Meeting. The opening ceremony was attended by Qi Ming, Vice Chairman of the University Council and Vice President of SUIBE and dean of the Entrepreneurship College, Wang Tao, Deputy Director of Shanghai Student Affairs Center, Ni Yisong, Secretary General of Shanghai Student Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation, Fei Leiying, Director of Entrepreneurship Guidance Department of Shanghai Employment Promotion Center, Song Suwei, Deputy Director of Yangtze River Delta G60 Science and Innovation Corridor Joint Conference Office and Head of Science and Innovation Team, Zhuo Yuying, Director of Public Affairs of Shenzhen Science and Innovation Institute, and other leaders and guests, as well as representatives of the members of the Expert Advisory Steering Committee of Entrepreneurship College, entrepreneurial mentors, members of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Academic and Worker Innovation Team and all trainees.


 


Qi Ming delivered a welcome speech on behalf of SUIBE. He pointed out that since 2017, SUIBE has built the Boshi special training course as a practical training platform to train young entrepreneurs to make their life choices in line with the future of the country and the times, and give full play to the power of youth in innovation and entrepreneurship, thus attracting many outstanding young entrepreneurs. He introduced the basic situation and characteristics of the Boshi class this year and made three requirements for the students. Firstly, he hoped the students would strengthen cross-border learning and focus on integrating scientific and technological innovation into entrepreneurial practice. Secondly, he encouraged the students to strengthen the cross-fertilization of disciplines to create a more dynamic team. Lastly, he expected the students to strengthen their efforts to apply what they have learnt to give full play to the power of youth innovation.



 

Qi Ming issued letters of appointment to the members of the expert advisory steering committee and the entrepreneurial mentors appointed this time.



 

At the opening ceremony, Ni delivered a speech as the representative of the long-term sponsor. Wang made a summary speech as the representative of the guiding organization and sponsor of the training program. Ma Xuanhang from Shanghai Institute of Technology and Fu Yao from Shanghai University of International Business and Economics spoke as representatives of trainees attending the previous and current training courses respectively.
