SUIBE Holds Class of 2022 Commencement

SUIBE 2022 held the Class of 2022 graduation and degree awarding ceremony on the morning of June 21. The click-and-mortar ceremony was attended by over 3,000 graduates, as well as their families and teachers.



At the ceremony, president Wang Rongming delivered a speech titled “Forging Ahead Against Headwinds and Embrace a Brighter Prospect”. He said the patriotism, perseverance and calmness developed by the graduates during their college years would light up their future paths, and encouraged them to be compassionate, grateful, responsible and faithful.



Yin Yao, chairman of the University Council awarded certificates to outstanding graduates taking jobs at grass-roots government agencies. Vice presidents Xu Yonglin and Wu Zhong announced a decision on honoring municipal- and university-level outstanding graduates, and the 2022 list of master's, bachelor's, and honorary bachelor's degrees to be awarded, respectively. Leaders of the university granted certificates of honor to municipal- and university-level outstanding graduates. They also granted diplomas and graduation certificates to graduate representatives, and turned the tassel for them.



Professor Yan Haizhou from the School of Finance gave parting advice to the graduates on behalf of the faculty. Liu Yangbing’er from the School of Accounting and Xu Yanzhe from the School of Law delivered speeches on behalf of the postgraduate and undergraduate students, respectively. Kong Xiaohong, on behalf of the SUIBE alumni, gave parting advice to the graduates via video link.

Videos of graduate representatives expressing gratitude and love to SUIBE were played and on-site student representatives sent gifts to faculty representatives to express their gratefulness.
