Recently, a major project titled “A Study on Actuarial Statistical Models and Risk Supervision and Regulation of Health Insurance in the Context of Big Data”, supported by the National Social Science Fund of China, with Professor Wang Rongming, president of SUIBE, as chief expert, was reviewed by the National Office for Philosophy and Social Sciences and was granted exemption from appraisal requirement to close. This is SUIBE’s fourth consecutive major project of the National Social Science Fund of China exempted from appraisal requirementin the recentthree years, and the first National Social Science Fund project completed at SUIBE this year.
The research group conducted in-depth research on the commercial health insurance and pension security policies of China by comprehensively applying research methods including big data statistics and questionnaire surveys, etc.
