SUIBE invites Professor Zhou Hanmin, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Shanghai Committee, to deliver report on twosessions


Professor Zhou Hanmin, Vice Chairman of China National Democratic Construction Association (CNDCA),Vice Chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Shanghai Committee, and an outstanding alumnus of SUIBE gave a special report on two sessionsduringa meeting held bythe central theoretical study group of the CPC SUIBE Committee on March 24. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Yin Yao, secretary of the CPC SUIBE Committee.



Professor Zhou elaborated on the international and domestic background of the two sessions, the basic information of the two sessions, and the spirit of the important remarksmade by General Secretary Xi Jinping of the CPC Central Committeeduringa joint group meeting attended by national political advisors from education, medical and health sectors during the two sessions. In particular, he analyzed and expressed his insights on hotspot issues that concern the students and faculty such as economy, FTA construction, RCEP and China-EU investment agreement, deepening the reform of government functions, and further optimizing the business environment.


When summing up the study meeting, Mr. Yin pointed out that Professor Zhou's report is of great practicalsignificance and guidance for further deepeningtheunderstanding of the spirit of the two sessions; it is also an important inspiration and reference for SUIBE to strengthen the cultivation of talents and the construction of disciplines, as well asto exploit itsadvantagesinscientific research and decision-making consultation.
