On March 9, SUIBE held its first faculty meeting of the new semester.
Upholding the spirit of relevant meetings held by the CPC Central Committee, the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee and the CPC Shanghai Municipal Committee on Education and Health Affairs, the meeting made clear the key work of SUIBE in 2021, aligned thinking, and built consensuses to ensure a good start of SUIBE inthe starting year ofthe 14th Five-Year Plan.
Mr. Yin Yao, secretary of CPC SUIBE Committee, presided over the meeting and delivered a speech. SUIBE President Wang Rongming made arrangements for key work of the year.
Mr. Yin shared his ideas on enhancing CPC history learning and holding activities to mark the 100th anniversary of the CPC, as well as how to deepen comprehensive reform on all-round education and make innovations on ideological and political theory courses. Besides, he proposed to accelerate the building of a new development paradigm for SUIBE, and to further stimulate enthusiasm for entrepreneurship.
Mr. Wang requested to deepen the reform of education evaluation in the new era, perform better on nurturing international talents, prepare for application of doctoral programs in 2023, optimize classified assessment and evaluation of teachers, and further raise the reputation of SUIBE as an international university.
