The AOM MCD 8th International Conference and Doctoral Consortium was held at the third university of Lyon, France, from June 13th to 14th, whose major topics include: theory and practice of change management, research methods to strengthen the relationship between theory and practice, performance evaluation of change management etc. SUIBE Prof. Qi Jiayin was invited to attend.
On the afternoon of 13th, Prof. Qi Jiayin, on behalf of the whole research team, reported the submitted paper How group-based Incentive work on enterprise social media: a network perspective, which is an in-depth research result based on the team's cooperation project with China Mobile Group. The study indicates that group-based incentive can effectively improve group behavior within groups on social media, while when it comes to among groups, no evident impact can be seen. On the evening of 13th, the organizer announced the best paper winner of the conference at the Lyon Art Center, whose award-winning research paper is the one and only English academic paper receiving such award at this conference.
On June 14th, Prof. Qi Jiayin attended the seminar on Change Management and Performance and listened to 7 special conference reports and other 6 reports delivered by researchers from different countries.
