Vice President Nie Qing met with Fr. Peter Stilwell, Rector of theUniversity of Saint Joseph (USJ), and representatives of thefaculty, representatives of the alumni and persons in charge ofstudent affairs from USJ.
After VP Nie extended a warm welcome to the delegation, the twosides gave an introduction about their respective universities anddiscussed possibilities of cooperation in student exchange, pilotteaching, English education, and research about Portuguese-speakingcountries. USJ indicated the possible role of the cooperationbetween the two universities in building connections between Chinaand Portugal in the fields of education and business.
