On the afternoon of May 10, President Karl C. Ennsfellner from theIMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, Austria, led a delegationto visit SUIBE.
SUIBE Vice President Nie Qing welcomed the Austrian guests andbriefed them on the goals of SUIBE to accelerateinternationalization for the next five years. President Ennsfellnerresponded by saying that the two universities shared much the samedevelopment goals. After the talks, Vice President Nie andPresident Ennsfellner signed a memorandum of understanding oncooperation with the intent to launch teacher and student exchangeprograms and to develop partnership in degree awarding and studentinternship programs, thus marking a new stage in the cooperationbetween the two universities.
Founded in 1994 and located in Krems an der Donau, a city innortheast Austria, the IMC University of Applied Sciences Kremsoffers majors in business, health, and life sciences, with 28full-time and part-time Bachelor’s and Master’s programs. It hasabout 790 faculty members and 2,600 current students. It cooperateswith over 118 partner universities in 36 countries around theworld.
