SUIBE team consisting of students from the School of BusinessManagement won the Silver Medal in the finals of the Cross-StraitsContest on Creative Design and Marketing Plan for Cultural Productsheld in Chinese Culture University (CCU), Taiwan on May 8th. ZhangQingqing, team leader and faculty member of the School of BusinessManagement addressed the awarding ceremony.
Seven universities from the mainland and Taiwan competed in thefive-month Contest, a platform for academic and cultural exchangesacross the Straits. The Contest was hosted by the College ofBusiness, CCU and co-organized by SUIBE, East China University ofScience and Technology, Nanjing University of Science andTechnology, Nanjing Audit University, Zhongyuan University ofTechonlogy, and Straits Institute of Minjiang University. It wasdivided into three categories, i.e. peripheral cultural andcreative works, digital media, and marketing plan. The participantsdesigned peripheral products featured with creative ideas andunique themes for the Chinese ink painting collection at Hwa KangMuseum, CCU and developed plans for marketing the products, with aview to excavating new value out of classic culture.
