On 10 December, Ms. Danijela Voljč, Head of the InternationalRelations Office and Co-director of the Confucius InstituteLjubljana at the Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, andDr. Matevž Rašković, Assistant Professor of International Businessand a board member of Confucius Institute Ljubljana, visited SUIBESchool of Continuing Education. Dean of School of ContinuingEducation Yang Xiaoyan, Deputy Dean Zhang Shuihui, and ProjectDirector Wang Jie met with the Slovenian guests.
At the meeting, Dean Yang gave a brief introduction to the schooland expressed the wish to expand international cooperation betweenthe two sides to better serve society. The two sides also discussedand agreed on a wide range of issues such as the “1+2”undergraduate program, the “1+1” MA program, doctoral summer camps,entrepreneurship education, “One Belt and One Road” homestayproject, and online Chinese learning courses. The two sides furtheragreed to strengthen partnership in future projects.
The University of Ljubljana (Univerza v Ljubljani) is a prestigiousuniversity in central and eastern Europe, with its Faculty ofEconomics ranked globally among the top 100 best business schoolsand accredited by both AACSB and EQUIS. In addition, the Faculty ofEconomics at the University of Ljubljana jointly runs the ConfuciusInstitute Ljubljana with SUIBE.
