On the morning of September 15, Dean and Prof. Ni Shoubin and Prof.Wu Xiaofeng, the School of Law, SUIBE met with Prof. SarahDerrington, Academic Dean and Head of the School of Law, Universityof Queensland (UQ) and Michael Chen, International Liaison Officerof UQ at the Moot Court in the Information Building of SUIBE.
The two sides spoke highly of the achievements made in thebilateral cooperation. UQ showed the appreciation of the excellentperformance of the exchange students from SUIBE. Prof. Ni expressedthe wish that the two sides would continue to expand and deepen thecooperation in various forms, including further promoting facultyand student exchanges, receiving Australian professors as visitingscholars to China, and initiating study abroad programs sending thestudents of the SUIBE Co-effort Master Law College to study inAustralia. Positively responding to the proposed plans andarrangements, Prof. Derrington expressed the hope to seecooperation with SUIBE at the levels of degree and non-degreeeducation. She also indicated that UQ would work with theAustralian companies and law firms in China in providing morescholarships and greater assistance to Chinese students.
