On the afternoon of 9 March 2015, Professor Michael A. Simons, Deanof St. John’s University School of Law, Professor Jeffrey K.Walker, Assistant Dean of St. John’s Law, and Mr. Xu Lingjun,advisor to St. John’s Law, visited SUIBE School of Law. ProfessorNi Shoubing, Dean of SUIBE Law School, and Dr. Xie baochao, metwith the American guests. The two sides exchanged views and reachedbroad consensus on matters such as joint programs, academiccooperation, and faculty visits.
Accompanied by Professor Ni, Professor Simons and his party visitedthe moot court, the moot arbitral tribunal and the mock law firm,and were deeply impressed by the practice-based learning at SUIBEand expressed their wish to extend cooperation in experientiallearning.
