The three-day finals of the 4th SFLEP National Foreign LanguageTeaching Contest co-organized by three National Advisory Committeeson the teaching of foreign languages under the Ministry ofEducation and Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press wereconcluded at the Shanghai University of International Studies on12th November. 58 regional champions from some 1500 Chineseinstitutions of higher education gathered in Shanghai to competefor the national championships.
On behalf of the Institution of Higher Education in Shanghai, DaiJiaqi, Department of Teaching English to non English Majors, Schoolof Foreign Languages, SUIBE competed in the final of TeachingEnglish Speaking and Listening. With his superb language abilities,teaching skills and class management skills and by leveraging oncutting-edge foreign language teaching theories and multi-mediatechnologies, Dai Jiaqi won the first prize after rounds of fiercecompetitions.
It was not the first time for SUIBE teachers to achieve greatperformance in the SFLEP National Foreign Language TeachingContest. In the four contests, SUIBE foreign languages teachershave won one first prize and two third prizes at the nationallevel, and three first prizes, two second prizes and one thirdprize at the Shanghai Municipal level.
