In mid October, Vice President Xu Xiaowei met with Mr. NaveenSrivastava, Consul General and Mr. Vijay Bhatia, political consulof Indian Consulate General in Shanghai who were on a visit toSIFT.VP Xu introduced in detail the foreign exchange andcooperation activities SIFT engages in, especially the cooperationbetween SIFT and Indian companies in China. Mr. Naveen Srivastavaspoke highly of the signing of the cooperative agreement betweenSIFT and Tata Constancy Services and the establishment of the“Tata-SIFT Education and Research base”. He also expressed thewillingness to recommend and support Indian universities, researchinstitutions and companies to work with SIFT.
