The 2012 summer camp of the Confucius Institutes at LjubljanaUniversity and Zagreb University opened on SIFT Gubei Campus on themorning of July 16. H.E. Mrs. Marija Adanja, Slovenian Ambassadorto China, Mr. Drago Napotnik, Slovenian Consul-General in Shanghai,and SIFT President Sun Haiming attended and addressed the openingceremony. Also present at the ceremony were the Director of theInternational Relations Office of Zagreb University, deputy dean ofthe Faculty of Arts of Comenius University, Slovakia, SIFT VicePresident Xu Xiaowei and Assistant to President Nie Qing. Summercamp students and SIFT volunteers took part in the ceremony.
20 students from the Confucius Institute at Ljubljana Universityand some from the Student Union of Ljubljana joined the summercamp. The Confucius Institute at Zagreb University also sent forthe first time 20 students to the summer camp.
The three-week summer camp featured various cultural activities.Over 30 student volunteers from SIFT shared the time with theforeign students during their stay.
