Professor Stanka Setnikar Cankar, Dean of the Faculty ofAdministration, briefed the SIFT visitors on the Faculty’shistorical development, management structure, education programs,research projects, student events, and international cooperation.During the talks, President Sun made a brief introduction to thecharacteristics and strengths of SIFT programs, and discussed indetails Central and Eastern European studies and internationaljoint programs in SIFT. On the basis of the existing studentexchange program, both sides agreed to further expand academiccooperation, including student and faculty exchanges, between thetwo universities.
The SIFT Delegation also included Ms. Xu Dongfeng, Director of SIFTForeign Affairs Office, Professor Wang Guanglin, Dean of SIFTLanguage School, and Chinese staff of the Confucius Institute atthe University of Ljubljana.
