From November 7th to 8th, 2011, a business delegation and aneducation delegation from the Confucius Institute at the Universityof Ljubljana visited SIFT. H.E. Mrs.Marija Adanja, Ambassador ofthe Republic of Slovenia to China joined the delegations in thetwo-day visit. President Sun Haiming met with the ambassador andmembers of the delegations. Ambassador Marija Adanja invitedPresident Sun to visit Slovenia next year and give lecture to thefaculty and students in the Confucius Institute in Slovenia.
The Professional Development Center and the School of ForeignLanguages were responsible for the reception of the delegations andarranged for them to attend the lecture on “Business in China”,visit SIFT campuses, museum, and labs, and discuss with some SIFTfaculty members and students.
