Professor Paul H.Haagen, deputy dean of Duke University School ofLaw and international expert on arbitration law, paid a visit toSIFT on May 21st. Xu Xiaowei, vice-president of SIFT, and WenYaoqing, chief of scientific research department, met withProfessor Haagen. Chen Jingying, dean of SIFT Law School, NiShouli, deputy-dean of SIFT Law School, and Qiao Baojie,deputy-dean of SIFT Law School exchanged their views with ProfessorHaagen on issues of scientific cooperation, faculty exchanges andteaching clinic.
In the afternoon, professor Haagen delivered a lecture on“Challenges to International Arbitration” to the faculties andstudents of Law School.
