Patricia E. Salkin, associate dean of Albany Law School in New YorkState of America, visited SIFT. SIFT vice president Xu Xiaowei metwith professor Salkin, hoping that the two sides will work closelyon the international joint program.
Professor Salkin exchanged views with Chen Jingying, dean of SIFTLaw School, and made a framework agreement on issues such asfaculties and students exchanges and international studies, whichlaid a solid foundation for the progress of international educationof both law schools.
SIFT Law School held a forum for students who are to have exchangestudies in Albany Law School. Associate dean Salkin warmly talkedwith the students, gave them a detailed introduction to Albanylocation, specialty, academic orientation, etc, and answeredquestions proposed by the students.
On the morning of that day, professor Salkin gave the facultymembers in SIFT Law School a lecture on “Cooperative Federalism andClimate Change in the United States”, and exchanged with them onrelevant legal issues.
