From December 4th to 13th, headed by Vice President Xu Xiaowei, thesix-member delegation of SIFT visited its partnership universitiesin the United Kingdom and Germany, including University of CentralLancashire, University of Napier, Coventry University, KingstonUniversity in UK and Osnabruck University of Applied Science inGermany.
SIFT delegation had extensive and profound discussions with itscounterparts on cooperation in such academic fields as journalism,business communication, tourism and event management, accounting,human resource management and business information management, aswell as in fields as employability training and career development.They also exchanged views on further carrying out studentsexchange, cooperative teaching in the form of mutually admittedcredit system both in undergraduate and postgraduate education, andthe feasibility and method of strengthening teachers exchange andinternational cooperation in scientific research. SIFT signedrespectively with the University of Central Lancashire andUniversity of Napier Memorandum of Understanding on studentsexchange and expanded cooperative teaching.
