On the afternoon of November 2nd, Dr. Grahame T Bilbow, FirstSecretary (Education) and Director of English China, Cultural andEducation Section, British Embassy in China ,visited SIFT in thecompany of Wang Haijun, project manager of Cultural and EducationalSection, the British Consulate-General. Professor Ye Xingguo,Vice-president of SIFT met with the guests. Xu Kai, deputy dean ofthe School of Foreign Languages also attended the meeting.
Vice-president Ye Xingguo extended, on behalf of SIFT, warm welcometo Dr. Grahame T Bilbow, and briefly introduced SIFT internationalexchanges and cooperation in recent years. The two sides alsoexchanged views on such issues as the current development ofbusiness English and business English teacher training in China.
Dr. Grahame T?Bilbow highly appreciated the characteristics ofbusiness English teaching in SIFT and expressed his willingness tocooperate with SIFT in business English teacher training program.
