In the morning of October 28th, Ms. Marie Heraughty, Head ofInternational Affairs of Dublin City University, visited SIFT. NieQing, dean of the School of International Business and Qiu Guixi,dean of the School of International Studies, received and held atalk with the guests.
During the talk, each side introduced separately theirinternational exchanges. They also had discussions about thecooperation in faculty and student exchanges.
Founded in 1980, Dublin City University is an emerging state-owneduniversity in Ireland, enjoying an international reputation ineducation and research, especially in computer science, electronicengineering, business, etc. Located in the northern suburbs ofDublin, it has achieved an enrollment of more than 7000 students,among whom 270 are Chinese.
