SUIBE Won ACCA’s Award in Appreciation of Outstanding Contribution


Professor Li Wanli, dean of SUIBE School of Accounting, was invited to attend the event in Beijing on June 22 to celebrate ACCA’s (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) 30th anniversary in China. Helen Brand, ACCA’s chief executive, presented Professor Li with the Award in Appreciation of Outstanding Contribution for the part SUIBE has played in cultivating senior accounting professionals with global vision.

Established in May 2010, the ACCA Program at SUIBE, with a strong teaching team, advanced teaching methods and innovative training modes, quickly made a name for itself among the over 100 universities in China with collaboration ACCA. SUIBE School of Accounting became officially a Gold Approved Learning Partner (ALP) of ACCA in April 2013, the sixth university in the country to have Gold ALP status. So far, the school has been granted ALP status for sixth consecutive years, ranking the first in the pass rates of F6 and F8 exams three times in China’s mainland. Five SUIBE students won the first place in China’s mainland in ACCA exams, and two SUIBE teachers received the Award for Excellence in ACCA Education. In 2017, SUIBE was named for the second time an Outstanding ACCA University in China.
